First and foremost, I do make use of AI and LLMs in my work and personal life. They can be very helpful for software engineering, administrative tasks, and helping me balance work and life.

However, I draw the line at using AI to generate “art”.

Writing and artwork are deeply personal to me. Any writing (fiction or non-fiction) or artwork on this site has been crafted by (my) human hand - I may use a tool like ProWritingAid to help me edit things.

I also recognize that there are problems inherent in using LLMs/AI, and I have optimism that humanity will solve those problems to reduce harm to the environment related to AI usage.
